Le Maroc élu meilleure destination spa du monde.

Comme chaque année, les palmarès des deux grandes compétitions professionnelles mondiales de l’industrie du spa sont attendus avec impatience. En 2017, les World Spa Awards et les Luxury Spa Awards ont largement mis en valeur l’Afrique et notamment le Maroc et ses spas somptueux mariant luxe et tradition.

Maroc: locomotive du spa en Afrique.

Entre culture et tradition, luxe et authenticité, le bien-être est un véritable art de vivre au Maroc. Le wellness est un des axes forts que l’Office du Tourisme du Maroc met en avant dans sa communication sur les marchés émetteurs de touristes. L’an dernier, le Maroc était déjà la meilleure destination du continent africain. Cette année, les World Spa Awards ont décerné au Maroc le prix de la Meilleure Destination Spa du Monde, rien de moins ! Devant la Californie, Dubai, La Suisse et même les Maldives !
Le Maroc est une terre où les bienfaits de l’eau sont mis à l’honneur sous diverses formes : le hammam présent dans chaque petite bourgade et dans les spas hôteliers les plus prestigieux, mais aussi la thalassothérapie dans les villes côtières (Agadir, Essaouira, Tamuda Bay, Casablanca) ou encore le thermalisme (Moulay Yacoub à proximité de Fès).

Les “World Spa Awards” récompensent la qualité du service et les efforts mis en œuvre pour garantir l’excellence dans cette industrie. Le tourisme de bien-être au Maroc affiche un taux de croissance annuelle de 10%.

 

Royal Mansour Marrakech: le meilleur du meilleur.

Au coeur de cette destination d’excellence, c’est le Spa du Royal Mansour de Marrakech qui a été élu Best Hotel Spa 2017 du Maroc. Son spa magnifique, d’un blanc pur, invite à la tranquillité et à la paix.
Au rez-de-chaussée, l’atrium en ferronnerie de dentelle blanche évoque une volière baignée de lumière naturelle. Ce niveau abrite deux hammams, un bassin Watsu, un espace de détente, la boutique du spa et un salon de thé. La piscine, protégée par une verrière dans le style d’une orangeraie, ouvre sur les jardins. En contre-bas du jardin, un très bel espace abrite un centre de remise en forme et un sauna.
Au premier étage, le spa compte dix cabines et propose une large gamme de soins (dans les marques marocMaroc, Sisley, Chanel, Léonor Greyl, Dr. Hauschka et Révérence de Bastien ) : massages, soins du visage, hydrothérapie, soins enveloppants, services d’esthétique traditionnels et un studio de pédi-manucure. Trois suites permettent aux hôtes en quête d’intimité de réserver un espace privé.
